General Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Taking customer’s orders through email, phone, fax, and counter sales
  • Deliver excellent customer service by quickly understanding customer needs & addressing them efficiently
  • Determine best pricing & terms from vendors, establish lead times for materials during the quoting process  
  • Ability to interpret casting drawings
  • Create and issue invoices to customers
  • Process purchase order receiving documents through system
  • Produce month end reports and analysis
  • Clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, faxing, scanning, mailing, etc. as needed
  • Assist with special projects
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities/customers effectively
  • Work well with co-workers & contribute to keeping a positive working environment
  • Experience in the Foundry Industry and/or general molding practices a plus

Qualifications:

 

  • Must be computer & technology savvy – Strong MS Excel & Word skills required
  • Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
